That afternoon I spent soldering...

I'm a little behind where I wanted to be with this project, but still moving. This past weekend I spent an afternoon doing a lot of soldering, and having a few beers, and started to put together my new version of my 6502 computer.

I wasn't entirely paying attention to the time, so when the GoPro beeped at me to let me know the card was full, I about jumped out of my chair thinking it was a smoke alarm. So, this will be a two part episode. I actually stopped when the card was full and dumped it to my PC for editing, but then took some time to relax and play Factorio, and next thing I knew.... it was time for bed.

When I got back to editing, I tried a few different speeds for the time lapse segments, varying from 3x to 6x speed, and I think I can safely do 4x for short bits and 8x for longer ones after that. I did compress about 3 hours of work into 20 minutes, so that wasn't so bad. But I definitely could cut it down more.

All that and there's a surprise coming in part 2. Stay tuned.
