I used to run a small photography studio called Aperture To Pixels Photography, based here in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I'm a pretty good photographer, but the business side of it eluded me for many years. In fact I'm still not good at it, but I learned a lot.

It did help me network with other people though, which was something I've always struggled with as a person. And that led to me finding other things that I loved that I may have never tried. In a very convoluted way, that's how I ended up getting into concert promotion and being a DJ. It started with music/concert photography and I networked from there.

Officially, I closed A2P in June 2019, 6 years after I founded it as a company, thinking it would be my escape from a corporate job. It didn't do that for me, but it did open up a whole lot of opportunities that I did follow up on. Now I'm part of the team at Goth-ick/Unscene, where I manage the green room and day-of artist relations, and a key member of the NEON RetroFest administration where I perform similar jobs as well as coordinate the photography corps and answer questions from media outlets. Additionally I became one of the house DJs for NEON Nights, a monthly synthwave night held on the last Thursday of the month at Freeplay Bar and Arcade, in Providence, RI.

I don't plan to give up on photography as a hobby, it's something I enjoy, but I'm no longer looking for photography work. I'm just taking on interesting projects as they come up and time permits. If you're interested in working together, you can e-mail me.
