Episode 5 - Arrested Development

You know there's a problem when your official episode title is an Gob Bluth meme.

Since I'm not going to bother soldering the V3 board in favor off the 3.1 board, I decided that I needed to add the soft reset circuitry.

I struggled with the R-C Circuit for a bit, but eventually figured it out. Hopefully it works the way I want it to, I was really hoping to avoid the supervisor IC if I could. I did build it into the 3.1 board before I sent it off.

I uploaded the design to both PCBWay and JLCPCB, and JLCPCB was going to cost me half as much, so I'm going to give them a try this time. As of writing this it's been about 24 hours since I sent it off, and it's already getting a silkscreen pass! Much faster than PCBWay without paying for the express, so hopefully the quality is as good.

Next up is the Serial Monitor software, then I'll work on the Real Time Clock once I have the ability to send data to it and receive from it easily (eg: through the terminal emulator).
