Back from the hiatus…

That was a very unplanned hiatus from, well, everything….

Hey there, retro enthusiasts! I'm back, and boy, do I have stories to share. You might've wondered where I've been. Well, let's just say life threw a curveball, and I've been dodging them with style. Buckle up, because it's storytime.

The Hiatus: A Rollercoaster Ride

Life has a way of surprising us, and for me, it was a whirlwind. A beyond-full-time contract (24 hours a day/ 6 days a week), selling my old house, buying a new house with Kim, a wedding (yes, I said 'I do'), starting a business, losing my feline friend (rest in peace, buddy), and a dash of ADHD diagnosis just to keep things spicy. It's been a rollercoaster, and I've been riding it like a pro.

The Hustle: Adventures Beyond the Screen

While I've been absent from the video realm, I haven't been idle. Picture this—a 10-week contract, a house sale that felt like a reality show (but buying the new place was super easy in comparison), getting married, all while setting up shop with my culinary consulting business (Chef Tom Consulting).

And I’ve kept my eyes open for anything that will make great videos. Somehow got my hands on an Osborne One, which still blows my mind. Mike from RToD make me a set of diagnostic and application disks from his as a wedding gift! Also grabbed an Atari 2600+ and a Molar Mac!

The Return: Brace Yourselves

Now, onto the good stuff—I'm back, and better than ever! The retro tech collection's grown, projects are waiting to be unleashed, and the Neon Sunrise project (oh, the possibilities!). Expect a flood of content—restorations, explorations, and some modern ventures sprinkled in. A video a week (maybe 10 days on a wild adventure), diving deep into retro tech lore, and building a vibrant community.

Stay tuned, folks! The comeback tour's about to kick off, and it's going to be legendary.
