A different Path

This summer got away from me.

I did make a small bit of progress on remodeling the basement, but basically I planned my time poorly and didn’t have as much as I planned to build things.

But!

Now I have a 3D Printer!

Except I have only made one successful print so far. I’m still learning.
I made the tool holder for my AnyCubic Mega S, but that’s all that I’ve gotten to work so far. It came with a spool of grey PLA, which I’ve had some success with. I also bought a spool of black ABS, and it came with 10M of what was labeled PLA, but based on how it feels and how hot it needs to be to extrude, it’s definitely ABS.

I haven’t designed anything yet. Everything has been downloads from Thingiverse. But I do know how to make things in Fusion360, so that’s less of an issue. I just need to find my caliper in the shop now. And hope it still works.
