New Desk and Remodeling

My desk design is probably going to happen sooner than later, depending on getting the lumber. At this point, that's all that's holding me up. I haven't found a good local source for 5/4 walnut, but I may just bite the bullet and see if Kencraft has some that they can ship me.

Or I might redesign it to use solid lumber, which could be more pricey, and a but more money, but could make some really cool designs. Or maybe an epoxy inlay with RGB lights? Who knows. I'm kind of working out how to redesign it. I like the design and shape as it exists now, so it'll be a matter of making it a different way.

I was starting to think of something like a butcher block top, but of walnut, and maybe a stripe of something else, and a nice decorative trim.

Ideas are running wild today.
